Dear Roy and families,
Unable to make it to the funeral yesterday, I want to take this time to pay tribute to Betty through this message.
As a member of Mothers Against Drunk Driving and Students Against Driving Drunk MADD/SADD, I served on the Twins Cities tri county Board of Directors withBetty and others years ago.
Roy, I hope you remember me.
As Betty told her Randy story so many many times to anyone who would listen to the scourge of what drunk driving and its consequences can do, I also told my story for 25 years with my high school student leaders and
Ms. Darlene Hapka, WBL MADD leader, who husband was killed by a drunk driver in a car crash around 1980 near Hugo, MN.
Betty, rest in peace, especially with Randy, now. Roy, and your daughters and families, know how special she was to you, Roy, and others family members.
I am certain for all her leadership of MADD that her action help make changes for the better in laws and moral responsibilities of all people that the mixture of drinking and driving can have lasting consequences, legally and morally. All my best, Roy. Be well. Doug Frost 651-429-6209 land line. If you want to sometime, call me. Peace to you and your families.
