My Dear Aunt Karen, I will miss your humor, your wisdom and most of all your company. You were always an amazing judge of character with a huge heart. You spiced up family holidays, and didnt let anyone tell you what to do. Wishing I could cheers a glass of wine with you just one last time. Rest In Peace.

An incredible Aunt! My first vivid memory of my aunt Karen occurred around my Birthday in October, 1968. She came to Bloomington from St. Paul and took me to Southdale to buy Suede leather shoes with Crepe soles. I was the coolest kindergardener alive. To this day the word Suede and Crepe bring a smile and a chuckle. Many great times from dinners to being on the haircut for life plan, even moments teaching her how to operate the pressure washer. With different views in some areas we kept it balanced as we respected and loved each other. Karen, You are missed already. To hold your hand just one more time would be a dream, those that were with us in the fall of 1994 will understand.

Karen, my sweet sister-friend~
You were always authentic in all things. You were a slightly wild soul who would shake things up a bit. You always made me feel comfortable and good about myself.
My heart is broken, I'll miss you.
