Age 85 - Of St. Paul Passed away on January 8, 2019 Preceded in death by wife, Joan; brothers, George, David, James, and Robert; sister, Mary Mitchell; grandson, Daniel Sedgeman; daughter-in-law, Vicki Johnson. Survived by children, Gerald Barte, Diane Weinhold, Joyce (Tom) Sedgeman, Karen Bjorkman (Duane Kelling), and Paul Barte; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Funeral service 11 AM Saturday, January 12 at FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 499 Charles Ave., St. Paul. Private interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation 9-11 AM Saturday at the church. Bill was a long term 3M employee, and a graduate of the University of Minnesota and William Mitchell College of Law. He was an avid singer, fisherman, bridge player, and a good friend to all.
