Footsteps in the Sand
by Chuck Henry
While footsteps in the sand
Tend to wash away,
You will always be with us
Each and every day.
I recall our footsteps
On a sandy beach,
And you were by your children
Well within our reach.
You were there to guide us
And protect us from all harms.
You were there to hold us
In your loving arms.
Dad,
Your footsteps in the sand
Will never wash away.
Chuck Henry
