Irene E. Caouette 91, of New Ipswich, NH died April 11, 2021, in Jaffrey Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

She was born on November 2, 1929 in Waltham, MA to Mitchell Ouellette and Edwilda (Chevrette) Ouellette.

Mrs. Caouette worked for 20 years at Warwick Mills where she met her husband of 57 years until his death in 2005. She also worked for Millipore Corporation for 20 years until she retired in 1990. She received her Associates Degree from NH Technical College at the age of 60. She loved to Read, Garden and Travel with her family.

Mrs. Caouette was a member of the LeClair-Caron-Pelletier American Legion Post 13 Auxiliary in Greenville, NH.

The family includes her two sons, Thomas W. Caouette of Manchester, NH, and his wife Pat. Edward W. Caouette of Sullivan, NH, and his wife Stacey. Three Daughters, Elizabeth A. Caron and her husband Cliff of Abington, MA., Marie R. Morin and her husband Edmond of Lincoln, ME, Florence A. Caouette of New Ipswich, NH. 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. She is survived by her brother Norman Ouellette of Nashua, NH and was predeceased by her two sisters, Lorraine Poirier and Rita Kennedy.

Services: There are no calling hours.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 20 at 11:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, High Street, Greenville. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, New Ipswich.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Make-a-Wish Foundation of New Hampshire, 66 Hanover St. Suite 101, Manchester, NH 03101-2230, in the name of Kathleen Morin.
