I was watching a news special about the 10th anniversary about 911 and Todd's parents were interviewed. I am shocked and sadden to learned about Todd. However, I remember his smile and energy from the days when we worked at RF&S. My condolences to his family and friends.

Today as in all 9/11's past I think about that day and the lose of one of my favorite attorneys at Venable. Todd was always cheerful and full of energy. Was an all around good guy and is missed.
Thoughts go out to his family.

Eight years have passed, yet it was only recently while looking up old acquaintances that I learned about Todd. What an unbelievably sad day that was. I was Todd's immediate supervisor at R,F & S when he joined the firm out of Emory. We worked together on many projects, traveled together, went to the gym together, until I left the firm in 1984. After that I didn't see him much, but I knew he was headed of to law school and a bright future.
I relocated to Delaware 21 years ago and lost track of Todd and most of the people we both knew. But this tragedy has revived my memory of the bushy haired young man tooling around in his RX7, and I now think of him and the time we shared often.
I am glad to learn that he and Vivian and their boys had a good life together, and I hope that they are well. Please know that I will always keep his memory with me.

I was cleaning out my cabinets today and found the George Washington University National Law Center 1986 Entering Class Student Directory. For grins, I was checking to see how some of my former classmates had been doing. I don't remember Todd that well, but I recalled his face and thought I would look him up. I am so sorry that this is the site that it took me to. Years have passed since GW and 9/11. This site reminds me that the tragedy of 9/11 did not strike so far from home. I am so sorry for your family's loss. Please know that the losses of 9/11 will never be forgotten.

Jason and Jeffery, this goes out to you. My heart goes out to you and all family and friends of your father. Time passes slowly when a loved one has gone to the other side. I know...I understand and feel your loss. Please know your loved one will never be forgotten by myself and others like me, no matter how much time passes. Todd's death will never lose its sting, but the ache does subside somewhat. I hope his light--which still lives--will bring you love and hope. I love you guys, May your father rest in peace.

Vivian, I am thinking of you and Jeffrey and Jason on a day that I know is most difficult for all of you. May it give you strength to know that others will always remember Todd on this day and forever. May your memories grow sweeter, while your sorrows diminish. With Love - Laura Siegel

Dear Todd,
I wanted to pay tribute to you as a fellow employee of Venable in their DC office. I came to Venable a year too late and did not have the honor of meeting you in person. Jim Shea sent out an email this morning for you. You are missed. God Bless you and your family, may you rest in peace forever and in the hearts of those who knew you always.

On September 11, 2002 seven thousand motorcycles honored the victims of 9/11 in a 26 mile ride from Chandler, AZ to the capitol building in Phoenix. All traffic was stopped on the freeway as we were all escorted the 26 miles. It was an awesome sight. Some of us wore namebands honoring each of the victims. My husband is a pilot for the airlines and wore the wristband in remembrance of Todd Rueben. It was an emotional day for all of us. You are definitely not forgotten here. We send our love to Todd's family and wish you our warmest condolences.

On May 21, 2002, 1 mile was walked to honor the life of Todd and all the family, friends and loved ones he left behind. May you find some comfort in knowing that you do not grieve alone.
Todd, you may be gone, but will never be forgotten, may you rest in peace.

I am a Senior at Acadiana High School in Lafayette Louisiana. As a tribute to those who were lost on Sept. 11, my soccer team decided to pick a name of someone who was killed that day and we are to remember that person and their family before ever game. I chose Mr. Reuben. Mr. Reuben ,his family and all of the other victims have been in my prayers. And to Mr. Reuben's family, I'm sorry for your loss, but he definitely will not be forgotten.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

I realized after I sent you that note of condolence, that you may not have opened it, due to the "anthrax scares". I just wanted you to know it was a genuine and heartfelt note to let you know how much my heart goes out to you and your family. You continue to be in my prayers.

I was so sad to hear that this tragedy took away someone who I went to Emory University with. I am heartbroken for Vivian who was a sorority sister to me and for Michael, Todd's brother-in-law who was a good friend to me at Emory. I hope that you have the strength and the support that you and your family need. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
