I just got to know Barry when we first moved into the Colony at Hollywood Beach. We got connected by playing tennis together on a weekly basis. He was a excellent tennis player and was kind enough to play tennis with me to strengthen my skills. That's the kind of individual Barry was very generous with his time and knowledge. He was energetic and always had fun at whatever he was doing. He was most proud of his family and his teaching accomplishments. I'll certainly miss our weekly friendly tennis matches. My sincerest condolences to his family.

This man was someone I have always looked up to. Growing up, math was always a very difficult subject for me, but he always helped me and never gave up on me. I will always remember you Mr. Gaynor. Thank you for never giving up on me, and always motivating me to do better. May you Rest In Peace.
