It is a shame for me as I've been searching for an address for Choyce for at least 4 months just to reconnect. Then, my more computer friendly daughter found the condolences page. We go back together a few times over the USN years and as I'm a couple of years older I'm more in the trying to settle up faze. My heartfelt sorrow to all of his family including his sister. God Bless, he is indeed in a better place. Bob Combs

Aloha Choyce,
You pulled some great ones in your time!
I think the best I saw was when you "ZAPED"
the XO's PowerWagon with "Lawrence of Lithuania!"

I was late getting the word on Choyce passing over the bar. Late condolences to Maureen and the family.

Choyce A. Prewitt, aka, Chauncy Allgood Prewitt, rest in peace my friend. The day I reported aboard the Naval Support Force Antarctic staff in Port Hueneme in 1979, I met you and it was like I had known you forever. You were a true friend and remained so until the end. Oh, what stories we could tell about our days on the ice. I think often of our RV trip from Port Orchard, WA up into British Columbia and then over to Calgary where you and Maureen, the youngest and loveliest of the Prewitt wives, headed east and we headed back home. It was then we got to know Maureen and we knew you had finally met your match. Choyce, you will always be missed, but never ever forgotten. Dick & Karen Taylor, Port Orchard, WA
