Mr. & Mrs. Salinas, Gracie, and the entire Salinas family,

My thoughts are with you in this most difficult time. I write this with the heaviest heart and deepest sympathy. Isaac and I became friends playing pinto baseball on a team called Merd, (yes, everybody called our team Merd the turd).

Fast forward to high school days and we reconnected. Countless Dodger and Raider games, road trips, and many shenanigans. Isaac was a fixture at all of my family's gatherings; small or large. He would drive me to see my mom at UCLA Medical Center after one of her many surgeries, even though his driving used to scare the crap out of me (and laugh about it). It was sitting in my parents garage when we decided to coach little league baseball together, because that was how we met. His motto was, drive off the weak and mold the survivors, our 8-9 year old players. He always wanted to practice at 2PM; I think it was to purposely ruin my beach day. We eventually grew distant, but with sightings about town, we knew the other was OK.

Isaac... Great smile, Dodger fan until the end (next year World Series Champs!), Raider fan (Super Bowl maybe someday), horrible dancer, and great friend. You'll be missed by many.

Dear Salinas family,

I am so sorry to hear about Isaac. I will forever remember him as a kind and happy soul who always made me smile. We have known your family since I was a little girl and I just cannot imagine the loss you are feeling. When I was visiting Camarillo earlier this year, I ran into Isaac and it was if no time had passed since we last saw one another. His smile and laughter will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.

I pray that you all find peace and Gods grace during this difficult time.

With much love,

Diane (Fox) Scoggins

Mr. And Mrs. Salinas and Family: I am profoundly saddened to learn of the passing of your sweet son, Isaac. Although the years pass, the beautiful memories of those who cross our path live on forever. I still remember babysitting him around 1966. Thank you for entrusting him with me. It was my pleasure and a joy. I pray for your spiritual comfort and that he now is in a place of peace and light for eternity-Olivia Menchaca and Family
