While it was devastating to find out about his passing, I know Pastor Lareva is Home with Jesus our loving and mighty Savior. He was the father figure I looked up to, started my passion for history, and supported our family even when we moved away from California. But the memories are many and the love our family had for his friendship and spiritual guidance will always be with us. Godspeed Pastor from the Witte Family.

Pastor Lareva was always there for our family while being in Thousand Oaks and Ventura. He was a very special person to us. Even after he moved to Orange he still made the long trip to attends my Dad's funeral and also my husband's. He will be dearly missed.

Pastor Jim married Sue and I in Thousand Oaks on Saturday, March 19, 1988. Thanks to Jim, it was a wonderful ceremony and at the end there wasn't a dry eye in the church! Beautiful it was!

All here in the Conejo Valley will miss Jim terribly. God Bless you, Jim, and your family!
