Wow, Uncle Sonny... I just can not believe you are no longer with us. Unfortunately, due to life and location, I never got to spend as much time with you, Aunt Faye, and my cousins as I would have liked. However, that made the time we did spend together VERY special. You always made me smile and laugh. You energy, when you entered a room...I loved the way my Mum lit up when you where around. If I have a regret, it would be not knowing you better...not just as my uncle, but as the man you were. I do know you were a great man, a kind person, and a loving/fun uncle....my mum (your sister) is a female version of this. My heart aches for Aunt Faye and my cousins for their huge loss. I hope you find peace, love, and joy in the next part of your journey. Please, give grandma and grandpa a hug for me. I miss them terribly, too. I love you, Uncle Sonny.

Uncle Sonny you will be missed. You and Aunt Faye sent me my first camera on my birthday. A instant Polaroid with lots of film. You didn't miss a thing. I was so happy. Such an extravagant gift which brought happy memories to my Mom too. I was so excited to have you attend my wedding. The picture of you with my Mom is one of my favorites. I wish you a wonderful ever after in Heaven. Thank you for the joy you gave my family! I regret having missed out on more.

Oh, my Sonny! How sad my heart isI loved and looked up to my big brother since I was a little girl. You brought home the first Hi Fi stereo and records; taught me to dance (you loved to dance). You'd say, Patty, who am I? That's rightMr. Cool! Ha, ha!. Mom made your favorite foods before Daddy drove us all to Bainbridge, MD for your Navy training graduation. We had a picnic and I sat with my handsome, smart, sailor brother! I checked the mail each day waiting for the blue envelope with a picture of a ship on it. Anticipation and excitement came each time you and sometimes with your sailor buddies arrived home for a short furlough. Finally home for good and studying to be a plumber. After long days of work, I made sure your dinner was warm, bath water drawn, clothes pressed, and shoes polished. I loved being your crazy maid (a sibling label I was proud of). You were kind, funny, and my hero. I remember meeting your beautiful girlfriend (later your wife), Faye, and visiting you both at your apartment. You and Faye gave me my first and only Brownie Camera for my birthday! It was a sad day when you both left for California but we knew you had to follow your dream. I missed you then and now even more...a part of my heart is gone, knowing there is no return! May you be with God, his Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ, our Blessed Mother, with the Angels and the Saints. Amen. I Will Love You Forever, My Sonny! Your Sister, Patty!
