I used to dance with Al at Ireland's 32 (in the San Fernando Valley, Van Nuys I think it was) but never knew he was so famous. He never bragged about his fame. A great guy, full of energy and a terrific dancer as well. I knew he loved the game, just didn't know his accomplishments until now.

Al was a tremendous influence on my son CJ when he played for Simi High 2009. Al shared his soccer expertise, but mostly his love for the game. I am sadden to just find out of his passing. He always enjoyed his black coffee with two sugars on the sidelines while he coached his players. He was a very special person. Rest In Peace Al , or better yet go kick yourself another goal.

Albert could always make me laugh. He'd point to something on your shirt asking, "What''s this?" When you looked down he would bring his hand up and bump your nose.
Say, "Excuse me." He'd ask, "Did you say squeeze me?"
Rest in Peace old Friend
