I am sorry to hear about his passing. I use to live across the street from Terry and his family. Back when his father owned the house that Terry lived in. I use to see him pull up to his house in different cars and I knew he worked for the Sheriff Department. I never had a conversation with him, but saw him many times.

Terry was such a nice person to work with for over 30 years, he was always kidding around and happy, I don't think I ever saw him in a bad mood. I am so sorry that he has left all of his loved ones way too soon. Just know that Terry touched so many lives and will be remembered fondly.

i just learned of Terry's passing today from a high school friend. I was shocked! Terry and i were best friends and high school and he was my Best Man at my wedding. We were high school friends, motorcycle and 4 wheel drive partners, party pals. We loved working on cars. He had the first V8 powered Datsun pickup in Thousnad Oaks! Had lots of fun with that. In fact, he always had cars and more cars. Went on many campouts in our late teens, early twenties. Graduated high school together. I went into the USAF and Terry got married. Life then took a turn and we lost touch with each other. I came back to Thousand Oaks with my family and we reconnected but we were both busy with other things. I'll remember him for his sense of humor, mechanical ability, a bit crazy, and a good father, granda, son and brother to his siblings. Gone way too soon. We had a lot of good times in our youth. My condolences to his family.

I worked with Terry off and on for many years. He was smart, knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. Terry treated others with respect, whether coworkers, 'brass' or inmates but he did not suffer fools gladly. I enjoyed working with him.
