We met Bill and Toni when our kids were teenagers and we were neighbors on Santa Paula Ave. After they moved, my daughter and I would run into Bill all the time, as Silver Strand is a small community. He was always friendly and warm, and I always felt as though I had ran into an old friend. More recently we would run into each other at the hospital where he and my husband went for rehab, and we reminisced and felt glad to see each other again. We regret not finding out until now. Our sincere condolences to Matt and the rest of the family and May He Rest In Peace . Curt, Lina and Monica Schlegel

Heavenly Luau in the sky,
there's no need for shoes or a tie;
just the light of his soul where his treasures abide!

Friends and family gathered there,
to welcome Bill and by faith declare;
this is the moment that ends all despair!

We carried a piece of your love with us here,
you gave it so freely and were always sincere;
not once unintentional nor cavalier!

Your lasting impressions still light up the earth,
like sparkling diamonds and unbridled mirth;
lives so enriched and hearts rejoice for all your unrivaled worth!

Go freely into the arms of the One who never left your side,
for the love for you on each side of the veil reaches far and wide;
and heartstrings can never ever be untied!

We love you Bill and celebrate that you are whole in your perfect body and in the presence of our Lord. Until we meet again, we will cherish the memories of your beautiful friendship. ~The Warwick family
