Doug was a "shining light." He will be sorely missed.
October 21, 2017
I first met Doug at College of the Sequoias in August 1977 at our division meeting and back to school ice cream social. I had the pleasure of being his colleague in the Business Department. His smile was infectious and he was always a warm, living man, loving, kind, caring and personable.

Mary Ann, Megan Jeff, and Damien, there are no words that can be said at a time like this that will ease your sorrow and grief. I know that if all your feelings can be expressed whenever they come to the surface, then it's possible to live again. There are many ways of living through bereavement, but if the loss can be fully experienced it can give, as you go through it, compassion and understanding and add great depth and meaning to your "new normal" lives.

My prayers and condolences are with you. May God grant you peace and understanding during this difficult time.

I am so sorry for your loss. I thought the world of Doug. Prayers for you all. Liz Parker, former Oak Ranch neighbor.
