Ronald "Doc" Stephen Fellows
Bakersfield - Ron was born May 2, 1939 and passed away November 22, 2017. He was the son of Roy and Georgia Fellows, making Bakersfield their home. He graduated from Loyola School of Dentistry, having practiced in Visalia his entire career. Ron was always interested in drawing and cars, cars being his passion. He also was an off-road enthusiast, including racing the Baja 1000. Ron's love for cars followed him through his life, building a 29 Ford coupe Hot Rod, after his retirement.
Ron is survived by his two sons, Steve of Chico and Brent of San Francisco. Also surviving him is his partner, Roberta Bender of Bakersfield, his brother Roy Fellows Jr. of Fresno, his sister Charmee Lynn Morehead of Bakersfield, his nephew Dean Bertey, his nieces Michelle Haakenson and Aimee Morehead.
Ron was honest, noble and trustworthy and was respected among his peers and family. He will be deeply missed by many; may he rest in peace.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Wyndham Hotel, 9000 West Airport Drive, Visalia (West side entrance) on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 1pm- 4pm.
