Joanne was my dearest, oldest friend. We grew as next door neighbors on Quintard Avenue in South Norwalk, Connecticut. We remained close over these many years and we spoke regularly through last December. I love her dearly and will miss her terribly.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her family. Joanne was a great person to know over the years. If you needed a good friend, she was there. Her willingness to help, console, and serve others was endless. That smile will be missed by many...

Joanne Munly was the secretary at Key Elem when I came to work there from '84-'89. I can close my eyes and hear her welcoming me in such a warm and friendly manner. I must say she had a contagious laugh. Joanne always provided a listening ear and encouraging words when they were needed. Key Elementary was a better place because of her. Thanks for the memories, sweet lady, thanks for the memories.☺

We are sad to hear of the passing of our dear friend Joanne. She and Dick had become friends from daily mass attendance at St. Charles over the years. Joanne has always been an angel to everyone who knew her and we're going to miss her presence. Our sympathy and prayers are extended to the whole large family in the loss of this wonderful woman.
