Loretta was one of my favorite neighbors during the 10 years I lived in silver spring. She was such an interesting lady and I always appreciate the conversations we had over the years. I will truly miss her presence.

My heart goes out to Loretta's extended family and close friends. Loretta and I shared undergraduate years and induction into Delta Sigma Theta Sorority at Howard University. Rest in peace dear Soror.

I was saddened to hear of Loretta's passing. She was a nice, intelligent person who loved, golf, travel and medicine, and good conversation. May she rest in peace.

Loretta Easton was a beautiful and talented person who will be greatly missed by many individuals and groups, not to mention her medical colleagues. I knew her in exercise class and church jazz settings. Loretta seemed very much in command as her own person. She carried herself royally as befitting the Queen of a Fraternity at Howard University, if not the entire University. Yet Loretta had a way that could relate to "Everyman."
Loretta was a gift to many communities and we loved her back. I am grateful that her Delta Sigma Theta sisters stayed around her and rallied around her. She was also a longterm gift to Howard University, who was, thank God, with her to the end. I can imagine Loretta conducting her entire lifespan as the ballad goes:"My Way."

I've known Loretta since we pledged our dear Delta Sigma Theta Sorority in 1956. We maintained our friendship throughout the years, attending sorority conventions and other activities. She was such an intelligent woman who made an impact on her students at Howard. A few members of our line "the Bad 24" enjoyed having a wonderful lunch with her the week before she passed. Rest in peace, dear Soror and friend! You will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
