Oh, Bob, I will miss you so much.
September 11, 2018
Bob served as our Assistant Scoutmaster at Troop 624 for many years. He was one of the finest Scouters I have been honored to serve with and two of his sons are among our 100 Eagle Scouts. Bob had a good way of teaching our young sons especially in woodland lessons and crafts. He led by example and exemplified the Scout Oath and Law. He attended many of our summer camps and weekend camping trips. He served on our Boards of Review including the National Board of Review when considers a Life Scout's promotion to Eagle. He also served tirelessly as our "Mulch Master" leading our small sales and delivery force in our annual mulch fundraiser. But most of all Bob was a good friend with a cheery happy manner to all of us. God bless Bob and his family and know that he will be sorely missed and long remembered at Troop 624.

My sincere condolences to the Mace family. Our conversations at Arl. Co. would always lead into the sharing of experiences of bluegrass festivals or shows either of us had recently attended. May he rest In peace Over in Glory Land.

Bob was the best! He hired me into Arlington County and then served as my mentor. I will always remember him with great fondness.

I worked with Bob occasionally at Arlington County and he was a very helpful and thoughtful person. Condolences to his family.

I am sorry for the loss of your loved one. May the peace of God and the fond memories you cherish comfort and sustain you in your time of need.
