John was one wild and crazy guy. I recall one deer hunting season he drove around town with a mounted deer head sticking out of the trunk. Many called his home asking where he shot the deer, how much did it weigh, etc. He used to take us kids, put us on a toboggan, tie it to the back of his Jeep and take us for a wild ride.

But as crazy as he could be he was kind, generous and just plain good. He was a gentleman who thought of others before he thought of himsel

He loved dogs and one of the most memorable was Dooner, a big English Bull Dog. Ask Janice to show you the picture of John and Dooner napping together. Another was Elmer a Boston Bulldog that would run along side John when he was biking.

Every one loved John and he loved every one. He was fortunate to be married to Janice who also has many commendable qualities

I offer my condolences to Janice and all of his family members. He will be missed and remembered by all who loved him.
