Charles O'Rourke Brummer
- - Charles O'Rourke Brummer, son of Adam and Agnes (O'Rourke) Brummer was born on September 17, 1933 in Mankato Minnesota. After a lengthy illness he died November 29 under the care of Tidewell Hospice. Charlie graduated from Wells MN High School in 1951 and from the University of Minnesota in 1955. He served as a US Naval intelligence officer resigning with the rank of LCDR. He was employed for 35 years at Wausau Insurance Company in their NYC, Milwaukee and Wausau WI offices. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Joan, three sons Adam, Christopher (Lisa) and Courtnay (Jill); eight grandchildren Ryan , Max, Casey, Zoe, Savannah, Gabriel, Hayden and Delaney; and one great-grandchild Jorgie. He was predeceased by his parents, his brothers James and Kevin and sisters Mary and Margaret. Charles and Joan retired to Lakewood Ranch in 2000 where he was laid to rest on December 15.

Dear Joan........Bev Barlament from Rothschild sent me Charlie's obituary today that was posted in the paper. I just had to re-connect with you and memories of the 1960's. Over the years wondering where you ended up and how your children are doing....have us all on old 88m film..... I will add a photo of what the Roach kids look like now. Beth is a Speech Pathologist in Green Bay /Bill is a federal prosecutor attorney here in Green Bay/ Mike is a Medical Administrator in Indiana and Steve heads up the Jazz Dept at Sacramento State U. Total nine grandkids...2 girls/7 boys!
