Angelina was my therapist. I met her August 17, 1990 on the telephone. I had called the Gary Center because it was the only listing for mental health in the small La Habra yellow pages. We had our first session that week. The sessions continued once a week until Oct 27, 2009. Angelina gave me so much, I confided in her and she called me "Child". We hugged after each session and I would say, 'I love you'. Christine Schimke

Angelina, I will miss seeing you once a week. You were my therapist since 8-17-90! I'm glad I told you 'I love you' after each session! You would start each session with, 'How's Christine today?'. I won't hear you say it ever again, but your times with me will be relived again and again. You touched my soul, saved my life, and taught me how to be an adult woman. I wish you could see my progress since our last session, but I am challenged and proud, you showed me how to be accountable, you showed me through your own self, how to live life, and how to love, and love myself. Both Rick and I are grateful to you Angelina, and you in your hat will be in our hearts forever. Thank you. Signed,
Christine Schimke
