Luz,
Though I only met your Dad once,he seemed like a kind, fun, and loving man and after reading all the wonderful things about him, my impression was correct. One, however, need only see what a good person you are to see the kind of man and father he was.Wishing you and your family love and healing.

I had the privilege of knowing Mr. Gomez. I remember him dearly because of who he was and what he represented. He was a role model. He embodied the paisa – hard working, passionate, well educated, kind. He spoke his emotions. He lived love.

I hope to have a relationship like the one he had with his daughter.

Luz, like my mother’s mother, your dad will always be with you.

Dear Luz,

I am so sorry for this and I wish there was some way to heal the pain. I always looked forward to seeing your father while he was in Miami visiting you. He is by far one of the most positive and true people I have crossed paths with in this world. One brief exchange with him and my day would go from good to great. He ALWAYS did that! With his presence came this overwhelming feeling of life and how good and fun and full of adventure it is. He is the man, that with mention of his name, brings forth a room full of smiles. He is an inspiration to all of us!
All my love and sympathy,
Jill
