William Arthur was born February 22, 1941. He passed away January 17, 2021 after a challenging fight with dementia. He was 79 years old. Bill graduated from Burlingame High School, attended Glendale Junior College as a basketball star and subsequently graduated from Denver University where he was a proud member of Beta Theta Pi. After graduation, he spent 2 years in the Navy in Vietnam. In 1990, Bill started his very successful construction company, Corporate Contractors. Over the years, he was proud of his membership on the the Board of Directors of the Jonathan Club, La Quinta Country Club and as President of Annandale Golf Club. He was also very proud of 20 years of running the Sartori Invitational golf tournament at The Los Angeles Country Club. Bill was a wonderful, kind, loyal and generous gentleman. He loved traveling to Maui and hosting his annual golf tournament. He loved hosting parties and he loved life. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle. He was preceded in death by his sister Martha Lescure. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Diane, children Will and Whitney, grandson Jodey Exner and many loving nieces and nephews. There will be a private service for family with a celebration of life to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to CHP 1199 Foundation or the Pasadena Police K9 unit or a charity of your choice.

I worked for "WAS" at Cal-Pac Construction in LA from 1983-1985. He was such a wonderful and fun boss! I have so many happy memories of him and of some good times we shared at The Jonathan Club, Annandale Dances and even sailing! One of my all time best bosses!
