Ralph N. Annis, age 89, a lifelong resident of Braintree, died, Monday, January 4, 2021, at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. Ralph was born, raised and educated in Braintree. He was a graduate of Braintree High School, Class of 1951. Ralph was employed as a custodian for the Braintree Public Schools for forty years and had been retired for many years. Beloved son of the late Harvey J. and Helen M. (Belyea) Annis. Brother of Everett Annis of Maine and predeceased by Walter Annis, Harry Annis, Dorothy Booth, and Haydee Belyea. Ralph is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, and their families. In light of current events, graveside services at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester will be conducted privately. For those who wish, donations in Ralph's memory may be made to the Independence Manor Memorial Fund, 41-53 Independence Avenue, Braintree, MA 02184. where he was a janitor and all throughout my family's life in Braintree Ralph was there.
He was the best. God love him.

Annis Family, - I'm very sorry to hear of Mr. Annis's passing, I first met Mr. Annis in kindergarten at the Josephine M. Foster school(elementary) in the Braintree Highlands , i was 4ish so it was around the time of Woodstock, 1969, i became friends with Mr. Annis over the years as he moved on to Braintree High(as did I), and after i graduated, i would see him in town on occasion.....he always had a smile on his face.....my g/f Kristin and I will say a prayer for him...
