Henrietta lived in the apartment beside me in South Charleston for 10 years. She often shared treats with my wife and me she had prepared for she and Buzz. If I was outside when Buzz came to pick her up for dinner or an outing, his eyes would light up when he spoke of her. She was such a special person. That wonderful smile will never be forgotten.

Henrietta was an important part of my childhood. As a young woman she was engaged for several years to my uncle Edgar Ware. We had many good times together and she was loved as a member of our family. After his tragic death, we were all devastated. Henrietta was a strong and independent woman. She managed to pull herself together and go on with her life. Our family kept in touch with her over the years, and she attended some of our important family functions. I know I can speak for my brother and sisters when I say a cherished part of our childhood is gone.
