Barry K. Anderson, 81, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 at Manor Care Kingston Court, York. He was the husband of Ann Marie (Moyer) Anderson. They celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on September 22, 2017.
Mr. Anderson was born in York County on September 13, 1936, son of the late Carl E. and Mabel L. (Mundis) Anderson.
Barry was a Red Lion High School graduate, Class of 1955 and served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. He was a self employed general contractor for the former Carl E. Anderson and Sons Inc.
He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, York, and the Red Lion American Legion. He was an avid bowler in his younger years.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a brother, Donald L. Anderson of Red Lion; two nieces, Kelly J. Anderson of Maryland and Kristi L. Rexroth of Red Lion.
There will be graveside service 1 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2017 at Mount Rose Cemetery, 1502 Mount Rose Ave., York. All those planning to attend, please meet at the main entrance of the cemetery at 12:45 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Grace Lutheran Church, 15 Jefferson Ave., York, PA 17401.
Arrangements were entrusted to the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, Inc., York (Shiloh).
