I met Denny thru Boy Scout Troop 50 in Spry. He was always helpful to the scouts and the leaders and took part in my son Eric's Eagle ceremony. Denny was an extremely nice human being and I am glad that I knew him.

With over thirty years of friendship under our belts, it is with heavy hearts that we must say goodbye. Since we were unable to attend the service, we would like to say a few things we remember about our dear friend Denny.

The four of us spent many happy years watching our children grow up. Later in life, the four of us often went canoeing or kayaking, which was so much fun. We always seemed to have some kind of adventure. Once while kayaking, we saw horseback riders in serious trouble. They were attacked by bees and one of the riders happened to be allergic. Denny, without hesitation, jumped into action and took the rider to the hospital. That was Denny! We also loved to go camping and cook delicious meals to enjoy together. Five years ago we all went to Hawaii and saw gorgeous sunsets, a volcano, beautiful beaches, and much, much more. We'll always remember that trip together.
Whenever we needed help, Denny and Anna were always there for us. That's just the way they were. And when Denny baked his delicious bread, it was always a very good day!
Farewell dear friend, until we meet again!
Love,
Sharon and Tim
