I never met a man who cared for the associates, customers, and Home Depot more than this man. He always had a good word for all and loved what he did. Whether it be work, fire rescue, cook, or sharing his hobbies with you. I truly loved this man and admired all he did for everyone. May we all take a lesson from his life and put it into practice in our own lives. Barb, we met once and I'm grateful that you shared this wonderful man with so many people. My sincere condolences to you and your family. Lots of love to you and your family

So sorry and shocked to hear of Grants passing. I started at Lancaster depot in 2006 when he commuted from York to Lancaster. He was a great manager and worker and tremendous cook. Surely, my loss.
From the comments and actions of others, and the persons i know his wife and broth-in-law to be, i am confident that i know that, by his love and caring deeds, he made a big difference to so many during his short life. God Bless him and his family.

Grant was one of the best managers I have ever worked for! He would always say hi and would make an effort to see how I was. He genuinely cared and was always helping someone. Grant was my brother-in-law and i couldn't have asked for a better partner for my sister-he was a good husband, father and a good brother to me...and most importantly a VERY GOOD MAN. If one can be judged by the company you keep and the friends you have, Grant couldn't have been any better. I wish he wasn't gone, there was still so much left for him to enjoy. Rest in peace brother.
