Mike was my supervisor when I worked in the GTE construction office. I recently asked my friend/office co-worker about him. Very sad to hear he passed away. He was a wonderful man & I was glad I could work in his dept. My deepest sympathy to everyone in the family. Rest In Peace Mike.

Mike, Jr. and Family
It saddened our hearts when you called to tell us your father had passed. We met Mike at the Front St. Diner and enjoyed many breakfasts and conversations with him. He became our friend and we truly miss our friend.

Mike and Joyce were friends of ours before we all married more than 53 years ago. Ivar was a 1st Lieutenant stationed at Olmsted AFB at the time. After marrying, we were there in Harrisburg for about 2 1/2 years (total) between assignments. We started our families at the same time. Our friendship continued throughout all the years that followed through phone calls and visits to Virginia and back to Harrisburg where Sylvia's parents lived. Our friendship, of course, continued with Mike after Joyce passed.

Mike and Joyce were a beautiful couple, and we loved them both. We are so blessed that they were a part of our lives. Our prayers are with Mike, Mark and all of the family.

I worked directly for Mike Holland and with his department for 40 years at the telephone company here in York county and I have to say a finer man there never was
I had nothing but respect for the man and he in exchange he respected all his workers in the same manner and I think everybody here in York loved Mike and loved the way that hes supervised and directed our departments we were one big happy family for the most part
Im really gonna miss him

Mike, Mark & family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. He was a wonderful man and a great neighborhood "dad". I can still hear his bellowing voice calling for Mark to get home back in the day. All my love, thoughts, and prayers. Memory Eternal!

I was so sorry to hear about Mikes passing. In fact on Sunday was talking to a friend who also worked for him and we were wondering how he was doing. He was a great boss and friend and know that he will be missed. My deepest condolences to your family. Sue Gordon
