I admired her so much when she worked at Kohlers restaurant on the Winterstown Road back in the 1950's. I had just gotten my first horse and I asked her if I could name her Dodie after her and she laughed and said ok. She was always such a nice person along with her husband.

We so loved when Dodie would bake for the Red Lion Choir and Band hospitality tables at our concerts. She will be greatly missed!

Dodie will be missed by the Felton community especially by me and her church family and friends. She was a great singer at church and was also a good Christian person that was looked up to and admired. She always had time to talk to you. God bless Bob and the family and may you find comfort knowing that there were many who loved her.

Dodie was a true "giver". She gave herself away for her much loved children, "grands", friends and neighbors. Her life served as a beautiful example of "how" to live what you believe as a Christian. It was a privilege to know her. My heart goes out to Lark and all her family.
Love,
Ellie Shoemaker
