PORTLAND, OR Sean Alan Winemiller, 47, formerly of Fawn Grove, died unexpectedly Tuesday, September 18, 2012, in Portland. Following cremation a Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 20, 2012, at Colonial Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center (Solarium), 970 Colonial Ave., York. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Born October 8, 1964, in Kansas City, Mo., Sean was the son of Cinda Lee Winemiller of Colonial Manor, York. Sean had been a house painter and landscaper, a restaurant cook, and a life-guard. He was also an inventor who did business with the Patent Office in Washington, D.C. He was a student in the gifted program at Kennard-Dale High School, graduating in 1982. He then attended Penn State University. Sean was an avid lover of professional wrestling. He enjoyed reading, cooking, swimming, and diving. Music was also an important part of his life. In addition to his mother, Cinda Lee Winemiller of Colonial Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, York, he is survived by his aunt, Bari (Winemiller) Snyder and her husband, Bill of Shamokin. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Perry L. and D. Jean Winemiller. J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, is assisting the family with arrangements.

I was just reminiscing about Sean two days ago with some KD graduates I ran into in Key West. We talked about much fun it was to be around Sean and his amazing pinball skills and diving ability at the pool.

When I think of Sean I definitely get a smile on my face! So many awesome memories and tons of laughs! Hanging out at KD, Shennys, "the jail" ....you are very fondly thought of and will always be remembered!!

Wow, I can't believe it. I will never forget all the times Sean made me laugh. We grew up running the streets of Fawn Grove, hanging out at the pool and the ballpark and of course the infamous jail.

Too many memories to recall them all.. Muscle Beach, Shenny's, teaching me to back flip from diving board, Roy Rogers and Dale Evans (lol, one of my favs), pinball wizard, 'The Jail', concerts....
