My Sincere condolences to the family and friends of Jose. When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure in your heart and it lives forever. May the wonderful treasures fill your hearts with love and bring you peace. May the God of comfort continue to be with the family during this difficult time. Hosea 13:14.

I met MAC Tirado (then MA1) in Bahrain, I think he came to Bravo section in late 2013 and became one of our watch commanders. He was one of the funniest watch commanders that I worked with. Everyday during guard mount, he would stand in front of us, a smile pulling on the corners of his mouth, and say "Now...now shipmates, don't assume that post if it's jacked up!! Don't do it! Good to go?" His "good to go's" would be emphasized by two big thumbs up. MAC Tirado always cared about his people, worked very hard, and led by example. He will be truly missed. Rest in Paradise, Chief. Tell those angels on watch at Heaven's Gates to not assume the post if it's jacked up! Fair winds and following seas.
