It is with great sadness that the Family of Amelia Ochoa Garcia announce her passing on December 28, 2017 at the age of 76.
Amelia was a devoted mother and nana who devoted her life to the care of her daughter Debbie. She will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Born June 22, 1941 in Yuma, AZ to Abraham and Aurelia Ochoa. Amelia is survived by her two daughters Sylvia Gastelum (John) and Debbie Garcia. Grandchildren Johnny Gastelum (Jessica) and Jason Gastelum (Matt Keeling); Great grandchildren Mykenzie, Jaxson, Jaddex Gastelum. Brothers, Raul Ochoa of Yuma and Gilbert Ochoa of Hacienda Heights, CA and lots of nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by Husband Fernando Garcia. Parents Abraham and Aurelia Ochoa. Sister, Helen Chaparro. Brothers, Eddie Ochoa, Gabriel Ochoa, Abraham Ochoa Jr.
Services will be held on Monday, January 8th at Yuma Mortuary. Viewing 6pm-9pm and Tuesday Jan. 9th at 12:00 p.m. Mass at I.C. Church. Burial to follow mass at Desert Lawn Memorial.
Pallbearers, Raul Ochoa, Gilbert Ochoa, John Gastelum, Johnny Gastelum, Jason Gastelum and Bob Trejo.
