Brenda McTIGUE Death Notices
McTIGUE Brenda (née Manton) - Clareview House, Kinvara, Co.Galway Who passed on 20th August 2025 Sinead, Robert, Nollaig, Anthony, daughters-in-law Rebecca and Eavan, sons-in-law Fintan and Brian, her grandchildren and her entire family wish to express their sincere and heartfelt gratitude to everyone who sympathised with them during the recent and heart breaking loss of their loving mother, grandmother and friend. A heartfelt thanks to our wonderful family, friends and neighbours for all the love and support they gave us during this incredibly sad time. We thank those who sent Mass cards, phoned, left messages of condolences, travelled near and far, sent flowers, made charitable donations to the Galway Hospice and delivered food to our home. Sincere thanks to all our wonderful family and friends who provided food, beverages and helped with the catering to the many mourners who visited our home throughout Brenda's funeral. We would like to thank Dr.Gillian Keavney and the staff of Gort Medical Centre for all the care, support and friendship they gave Brenda over the years. A very special thank you to the doctors, nurses, public health workers, carers and the Palliative care team in Galway Hospice, Renmore. The care and dedication you all showed towards Brenda throughout her illness was exceptional and will never be forgotten by us or our extended family. To Brenda's lovely home help carers Joanne and Knowledge, who came into our home and treated Brenda with such dignity and respect thank you. To Ian Clarke and the wonderful staff of Clarke's Pharmacy, Kilcolgan, thank you for all the help, advice and support throughout Brenda's illness. Sincere thanks to Fr.Hugh Clifford, Fr.Christy McCormack, Fr.Brendan Kelly, Fr.Des Walsh, Fr.Ray Sweeney and Fr.Sean Egan for concelebrating Brenda's funeral Mass. We would like to thank Carmel Murphy, Sheenagh Murphy and the Ballinderreen choir for their beautiful hymns and music throughout Brenda's funeral Mass. Thank you to all the grave diggers who gave their time so generously to prepare Brenda's final resting place in Labane Cemetery. Thanks to Micheal Keogh and Paddy Cormican of Corless' Funeral Services for their professionalism and caring manner throughout Brenda's funeral. Thank you to Ballinderreen GAA club, the Community Centre Committee and volunteers for providing their time, expertise and any equipment required to ensure Brenda's funeral was conducted in a dignified and safe manner. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgement will show in some small way our families deep appreciation for all your support, kind words and love shown for Brenda.
