The death has occurred of Sr. BRIDGET TERESA O'CONNOR
Cork City, Cork / Oranmore, Galway
O'Connor, (Cork and Oranmore, Co. Galway). On 3rd October 2025, Sister Bridget Teresa, Sister of Bon Secours, Cork (formerly ministered in Scotland, England, Kerry and Galway), peacefully in the loving care of the Bon Secours Sisters and staff of the Bon Secours Care Village, Cork. Pre-deceased by her parents Brian and Marianne, her brothers Fred and Tony, brother-in-law Sean and sister-in-law Bridie. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by her brothers Martin and Bernard, her sisters Ann (McEnroy) and Patsy (O'Brien), brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, her sisters in the Bon Secours Community, relatives and friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing on Tuesday (7th) at Sullivans Funeral Home, Turners Cross, Cork from 5.00pm until 6.00pm. Reposing on Wednesday (8th) at Tearmann Mhuire on the grounds of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore (Eircode H91XC61) from 5.00pm until 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday (9th) at 11.00am in Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore. Funeral Mass will be broadcast on parish radio (105.3FM) and can be viewed on parish website Link Here . Burial afterwards in Knock New Cemetery, Co. Mayo.
