FLAHERTY, Christy Mannin, Ballyconneely, Co. Galway, who passed away on Monday 2nd July 2018. Christy's family would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our recent sad loss. We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many relatives, friends and neighbours who attended the Chapel of Rest, funeral and burial. For those who travelled long distances, sent messages of sympathy, Mass cards and floral tributes, contributed to the charitable donations, we are truly grateful. We gratefully appreciate the thoughts and prayers of our family and friends who could not be present with us. Our grateful thanks to the oncology and radiation teams, the staff of the Day Ward, clinical nurse specialists in UHG, Galway Hospice and the palliative homecare team. Our thanks to Dr's Casey Senior and Junior, community nurses and Moran's Pharmacy. We are most grateful to Bernie Coyne for her support to Christy for the past three years. Our heartfelt thanks to the staff of Clifden District Hospital for your kindness and exceptional care to Christy especially in his final days. A special thanks to Fr. Ronayne for his support and meaningful Mass, the altar servers and to the musicians and singers for the beautiful music. Our thanks to John Brendan Mannion, Undertaker, for his support and the gravediggers for preparing Christy's final resting place. Our appreciation to family members who provided and served refreshments in the Chapel of Rest and to Keogh's Bar for providing refreshments after the funeral. We would like to offer our sincere thanks to Marian, Malachy, Annie and Conneely family for their kindness and dedication to Christy. Finally, thank you to Christy for the 'Fáilte' to us all when we visited. As it is impossible to thank everyone, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our gratitude, a Mass will be offered for all your intentions. Month's Mind Mass Will be celebrated Sunday 29th July at 10am in the Church of the Holy Family, Ballyconneely.
