SAMMON, Daniel - Tully, Renvyle, Connemara, Co. Galway Daniel passed away peacefully at home on 25th August 2025, after a short brave battle with illness, surrounded by his loving family. We, his family, wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who supported us in our recent sad loss. To those who called to our home, attended Daniel's reposal, removal and Funeral Mass, sent Mass cards, flowers, letters or messages of sympathy, shared beautiful tributes in his memory, or offered help in countless other ways - your kindness and thoughtfulness have brought us great comfort and will never be forgotten. A special word of thanks to our relatives, friends, and to all who travelled long distances to be with us at this difficult time. We are especially touched by the kindness of our neighbours and community who brought food, kept the house going, and supported us in so many thoughtful ways throughout the funeral. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation. We are also very grateful to the doctors, nurses and care attendants of UHG and Beaumont Hospital for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Daniel throughout his visits. Our deep thanks to Fr. Raymond Flaherty for celebrating such a beautiful and meaningful Requiem Mass for Daniel. We would also like to thank Pat Cafferkey and Pat Coyne for the heartfelt music at the church and the graveside. It was a fitting tribute to Daniel and a source of comfort to us. We would like to thank Coyne's Funeral Directors for their guidance, sensitivity and professionalism, and all who prepared Daniel's final resting place in Renvyle cemetery with such dignity. Finally, to Daniel himself - a devoted husband, father, grandad, brother and uncle - we give thanks for the love and legacy he leaves behind. May his gentle soul rest in peace. Daniel's Month's Mind Mass Will take place in Christ the King Church Tullycross (H91D285) on 28th September 2025 at 11am
