Dave Egan Death Notices
EGAN,Dave, Glenina Heights, Galway City. The family of the late Dave Egan would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who supported us with such kindness and care during our recent loss. Thank you to all who joined us at the Removal and Funeral Mass, called to the house, sent messages, Mass Cards, letters of condolences, RIP tributes or flowers, your presence and support meant so much and brought us great comfort. To our extended family, wonderful neighbours and friends who brought food, refreshments and a shoulder to cry on, a heartfelt thank you. To those who travelled, especially long distances to offer their support, a big thank you. To Mr. Joyce and his team, Mr Leonard and staff in the oncology unit at UHG, the staff at Galway Hospice, we are very grateful for the professionalism, kindness, exceptional care and compassion shown to Dave and family during his illness. A special thank you to Fr. Anthony, to Frankie for his singing and to all who contributed to the lovely Funeral Mass. Thank you also to Joe, Clare Ann and all at Irwin's Funeral Directors for your professionalism and compassion, and to the gravediggers for their respectful and dignified work. As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere expression of our deep gratitude. A Christmas Mass will be offered in thanksgiving. May Dave's gentle soul rest in peace.
