Frank KEANE Death Notices

KEANE,Frank, Gorteenanillaun, Kilchreest, Loughrea, C0. Galway. We honour the memory of Frank, who passed peacefully from this life on 27th January 2025. Deeply missed by his children Geraldine and Kevin, granddaughter Holly, sister Carmel, and extended family. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who sympathised and supported us during this difficult time. For everyone who telephoned, visited, sent cards and flowers, left messages of condolence on RIP.ie, thank you. Your friendship and kindness gave us great solace at a difficult time. We would like to thank relatives, neighbours, and friends who visited Frank in recent months and for being with us at the removal, funeral Mass, and burial. Special thanks to Fr. Michael Ifiora, thank you for a beautiful Mass. To our friends and neighbours who prepared the grave in Kilnadeema, David and John Donnellan, Joe and John Monaghan, Gerry Mitchell, and Joe Cormican, thank you for your effort, care and attention in harsh weather. Our gratitude to Anne Conroy Burke, Mick Quinn, Yvonne Barrett, and Melissa and Darren Clarke for the moving and poignant music at the funeral. To Tony and Geraldine in Dignity Funeral Care, thank you for your experience in knowing what to do, and when and how to do it best. It makes all the difference. To Justin Comer, the team at Maggie May's, and An Crush Nua, thank you for the nourishing food and refreshments after the burial. Thanks to the staff at Portiuncula Hospital and St John's ward who brought their skill, care and compassion during Frank's final days. A special thank you everyone who provided care at Holy Trinity Nursing Home in Killimor, Co. Galway, Thank you for your professionalism, care, and kindness. It's impossible to thank everyone individually but please accept this acknowledgement as our sincere appreciation for all your support and kindness. Frank will be sorely missed but will be remembered with love. Frank's Month's Mind Mass Saturday 1st March, 2025 at 11:00 in St. Brendan's Cathedral, Loughrea.
