MONAGHAN (née Duffy), Ita - Caheroyan Road, Athenry, Co. Galway who passed away peacefully on 14th July 2025 We, the family of the late Ita Monaghan, wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with them during their recent bereavement. We are deeply grateful to those who called to the house, attended the removal, funeral Mass and burial, sent Mass cards, letters of sympathy, floral tributes, and messages online. Your kindness and support brought great comfort to us at a difficult time. A special word of thanks to Fr. Benny McHale and Fr. Charlie McDonnell for the beautiful funeral Mass, and to Sinead Murphy for the lovely music. We also wish to thank Gardners Funeral Directors for their professionalism and compassion. Special thanks to Dr. Ian O'Connor, all the staff at Bluebird Care, the Public Health Nurses, and the Athenry Primary Care Centre for the wonderful care given to Ita especially in her final years. Thank you to those considerate friends who facilitated the funeral processions and to the grave diggers who prepared Ita's final resting place with such care and attention. Finally, thank you to Lester McNamara and the staff of the Raheen Woods Hotel for their attentive support in hosting our family and friends for lunch after the burial. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation. Month's Mind Mass for Ita Will take place in the Church of the Assumption, Athenry on Sunday 24th August at 11.00 a.m.
