James DAVOREN Death Notices

DAVOREN, James (Jimmy) - Late of Albano Cottage, Gortacleva, Bushypark, Galway who passed away peacefully on 4th March 2025 Jimmy's family would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with and supported us during our recent loss. Many thanks to all our neighbours and friends who visited the family home, those who attended the wake, house repose, removal and funeral Mass. Thank you also to those who sent Mass cards, messages of sympathy, telephone calls, condolences, and those who travelled long distances to be with us. Thank you to all our neighbours, relatives and good friends who brought food and helped at the house with refreshments for all. A Sincere thanks to all the doctors, nurses and staff at U.H.G who cared for Jimmy. A Special thanks to Fr. Larkin for his prayers and meaningful celebration at Jimmy's removal, funeral Mass and his prayers at the grave side. A Special thanks to all who were involved in preparing and participating in the funeral Mass, including Johnny O'Halloran on accordion, and Vincent Mullins for his brilliant singing. Much thanks to Irwin Undertakers team Joe, Ann and Clare Ann Irwin and Noel Hughes, for their professionalism, care, advice, help and support. Thanks also to the grave diggers who prepared Jimmy's final resting place in Moycullen Cemetery. We are grateful to all the staff at the Clybaun Hotel for their warm welcome and lovely meal following the burial. As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude and appreciation of your support. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Month's Mind Mass Will be held Sunday 6th April 2025 at 10am in St. James' Church, Bushypark, Galway.
