Kathleen Flaherty

The death has occurred of Kathleen Flaherty (née O'Brien), Hazelwood, Castlegar, Galway

Peacefully, in the loving care of the Bon Secours Hospital, Galway. Pre-deceased by her parents Pat and Winifred and her much loved brother Denis. Beloved wife, mother, Nana, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Kathleen will be very sadly missed and never forgotten by her loving husband Paraic, her heartbroken children Emer, Nollaig, Daragh and Neil, her daughter-in-law Nessa, her son-in-law Stephen and Martin, her beloved grandchildren Laoise, Conor and Cayla, her much loved sister Marie, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, her many nieces, nephews, cousins, her large extended family all over the world her wide circle of neighbours and friends, and Conor's faithful dog Salah.

Mam was always full of love and light, her great strong spirit will live on forever in all of us who knew and loved her.

Reposing at Sioríocht (H91XH02) in the grounds of the Assumption and St.James Church Claregalway on Sunday evening 23rd of November from 4.30pm removal at 6pm to her home. Requiem Mass on Monday 24th of November at 12 o'clock in St.Columba's Church, Castlegar, burial afterwards in Claregalway Cemetery.
