DOLAN, Martin, late of Turoe, Bullaun, Loughrea, Co. Galway, and of Martin Dolan Electrical, Main Street, Loughrea, Co. Galway, who passed away on the 11th of October 2014. Martin's beloved wife Claire Ann, daughters Lorraine and Joanne, sons Martin, Ciaran and Cathal, sons-in-law Dermot and Michael, daughter-in-law Claire, grandchildren, Darragh, Riain, Tomas and Donnacha, his brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and extended family wish to thank most sincerely all those who supported, sympathised and consoled us on our recent sad loss of a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.Sincere thanks to the large crowds of people who attended Martins wake, removal, funeral Mass and burial. We would also like to thank all those who travelled long distances to be with us, telephoned, sent messages, Mass cards, during his illness and cards of sympathy, floral tributes and donations to Galway Hospice during Martin's funeral. A special word of thanks and deepest appreciation to our wonderful neighbours and our many great friends and relatives who helped and supported us in so many ways, and also to those who cooked and provided food for the house during the days of the funeral, and also who helped with traffic and parking. Your generosity and thoughtfulness will never be forgotten. Thanks also to Martin's close friends who were also a great support to him during his illness. We wish to thank Dr. Maccon Keane, his secretary Susan McDonnell, the doctors, nurses and all the staff of our Lady of Knock Ward, Galway Clinic, the Palliative Care Team and the Oncology Dept of the Galway Clinic for taking great care of Martin during his illness. Our gratitude also to Dr. Bart Moloney, GP who always looked after Martin so well. Thanks also to Jean Brogan and all the staff at Brogans Pharmacy. Sincere thanks to Fr Pat Kenny for his beautiful celebration of Martin's funeral Mass and to David McGann for his wonderful reflection on Martin's life. Special thanks also to all the priests of the surrounding parishes who joined in the celebration of the Mass. Special thanks to Fergal, Paddy, Avril, Yvonne, Jacinta and Donal for their beautiful music and singing which made the ceremony a true celebration of Martin's life. Thanks to Gemma for all her help in the preparation of Martin's funeral Mass. Thanks to Sean and Esther for their preparation of Bullaun Church and to the Altar servers for their contribution to the Mass. Thank you also to the gravediggers for preparing Martin's final resting place. Our gratitude and thanks to Sarsfields GAA Clubs for their Guards of Honour on both days which were very much appreciated; and also to Tommy Fox for his lovely tribute on Galway Bay FM. To An Garda Siochana and in particular Supt. Enda Walsh for his salute and traffic control on the day of the burial, we offer our sincerest thanks. We would like to offer our sincerest gratitude to the Bullaun Ladies Committee for providing the refreshments after the burial. Thank you to Chris, Sean, Joe and Dara and all the staff of Kilboy's Funeral Directors for their upmost professionalism, sensitivity and kindness over the days of the funeral. Thank you very much to all our customers at Martin Dolan Electrical for their support and patience while the business remained closed as a mark of respect to Martin, and also to EasyFix and Doyle Agri for allowing us time off during Daddy's illness. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this will be accepted as a token of our deepest appreciation. A Mass will be offered for your intentions. Finally to you Martin, we thank you for being a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother. We will love and miss you forever. . Martins Month's Mind Mass.
