GREENE, Martin (Mattie), Carrabane, Athenry, Co. Galway, who passed away on the 9th of November 2012. The cousins of the late Mattie Greene wish to express their sincere thanks to all who supported them on their sad loss. Thank you to all who helped in the preparation for his wake at his residence, the removal and funeral Mass. We would also like to thank those who sent Mass cards and a contribution to the Galway Hospice. Thank you to Fr. Flanagan and Fr. Plower for visiting Mattie during his illness and for concelebrating his Requiem Mass, also the choir and organist. Thank you to Dr. Kilraine, also staff of Brogan's Pharmacy, the doctors, nurses and staff of the Galway Hospice for their great care and kindness to Mattie. Thank you to Dignity Undertakers for their help with the funeral arrangements. To Mattie's lifelong friends Bernie Spellman and Mickie Fallon who helped organise the gravediggers and prepared Mattie's final resting place so beautifully. To Gavin Treacy for his beautiful music at the graveside and to Management and staff of the Meadow Court Hotel, thank you. Finally to all of Mattie's neighbours and friends who were so good to him a heartfelt thanks. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Month's Mind Mass. Will be celebrated on Friday the 7th December at 7 p.m. in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clostoken.
