McHUGH Mary (née Sears). Caltra, Ballinasloe. 1957 - 2012. Mary's husband Noel, daughter Caríosa, brothers Tom, Paud and Dermot, aunt Peggy, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law and the extended McHugh and Sears families would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of you who offered sympathy and support to us following Mary's death at the Galway Hospice on 14th December 2012. For us, her sad loss was made more bearable by your kindness, understanding, compassion and your presence during Mary's reposal at home and subsequently at the Franciscan Oratory Chapel in Mountbellew. To the staff at U.C.H.G. who cared for Mary during her illness, we thank you for your efforts and professionalism to lessen the trauma and impact of the illness on her. To the Galway Hospice, we thank you for sharing your holistic and caring ethos with Mary and her family. To Henry and Damien, the undertakers who organised the funeral arrangements with compassion and understanding and fulfilling Mary's desire to be interred in Ventry, Co. Kerry, we thank you. To Fr. Vincent McDevitt, who visited and offered prayers for Mary when she reposed at home, we thank you. To the Franciscan Brothers Mountbellew for the use of their facilities, we thank you. To the many people who travelled from near and far to sympathise, those who telephoned and sent mass cards, we thank you. To the mourners who gave generously to the Hospice in lieu of flowers, we thank you. To our relations and friends in Kerry, who attended Mary's funeral mass in Ventry church and subsequent internment in Relig Naomh Caitlín in such large numbers, we thank you. To Fr. Seamus McKenna, Fr. Donal O'Connor, an t-Athair Tadhg Ó Dochartaigh, an t-Athair Micheál Ó Dochartaigh, Fr. Noel Moran, Fr. Patrick Sheehan, an t-Athair Tomás Ó Hiceadha and Fr. Eoghan Kiely, who concelebrated mass and officiated at the graveside and to the choir who's contribution added so much to the liturgy, we thank you. To Deidre and Peggy, who provided food and refreshments following the burial, we thank you. As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. First Anniversary Mass. Will be offered for the repose of her soul in St. Mary's Church, Beaufort, Co. Kerry on Saturday evening the 14th of December at 7.30 p.m.
