Maureen King Death Notices

KING,Maureen, Wellpark Grove (formerly of Clifden) 1st of July. Maureen's daughter Eimear, son-in-law Oliver, along with her sisters and brothers, wish to express their deepest gratitude and appreciation to all who consoled and supported them following the loss of their beloved Maureen. We will be forever grateful to our extended family and friends, Maureen's nursing colleagues, neighbours and friends. Thank you to O'Flaherty's funeral directors for their exemplary professionalism, to all those at Mervue church and to Fr. Noel Gillespie. We also wish to extend our sincere thanks to all who participated in Maureen's funeral Mass. Thank you to Maureen's wonderful carers, who took such excellent care of her and helped her to live her life to the fullest in the comfort and familiarity of her own home. In addition, we would like to extend our immense gratitude to the other people in Maureen's life who contributed to her care, well-being and upkeep of her home. Thank you to her wonderful friends and colleagues in UHG, for the decades of loving and enduring friendships with Maureen and for all the wonderful stories they shared with us in the days after her passing. And to her friends in Clifden, whom she so thoroughly enjoyed catching up with, thank you To all Maureen's loyal customers who supported her in her knitting business, and to the many who became friends, thank you. Additionally, we would like to acknowledge the medical teams who took such good care of her. To those in the community, her G.P. Dr John Lally, her district nurse Michelle and Ballybane pharmacy, in particular Mark who looked after her so well. Thanks to the staff in St. Anns and the Corrib wards in UHG and the hospital Chaplin who cared so kindly for Maureen in her short time with them in her final days. We will be forever grateful for the outpouring of support and love. Thank you to those who called to the house, attended the removal service, funeral Mass and burial. Thanks also to those who sent Mass cards and for all the messages of condolences online. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will show in some small way our deep appreciation for all your support, kind words and love shown for Maureen. She would have been honoured. Month's Mind Mass for Maureen Will take place on Saturday 27th July at 6:30pm in Church of the Holy Family, Mervue. You left us with beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide, Although we cannot see you, you are always by our side, We will always keep a special place in our hearts for you.
