She was born in the Abruzzo region of Italy on February 18, 1930, and emigrated to the United States in 1937. Her family settled in West Philadelphia, where she attended West Catholic High School for Girls and received her bachelor's degree from Rosemont College in 1953. She worked in medical research for many years before marrying her late husband, Robert G. Allman, Esquire, who predeceased her. She is also predeceased by her parents, Vincent and Emilia Tinari, and one brother, Dino Tinari. She is survived by many family members, including her devoted sons, Robert (Michele), Vincent (Kara), Richard, and Lee (Annie), and her six (6) granddaughters, Nicole, Julia, Georgie, Derby, Chloe Arden and Sydney along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her two younger brothers, Nino Tinari (Carol) and Veny Tinari (Betty). No one left her table hungry, without a warm smile, or without receiving an act of generosity and kindness. She rarely missed her sons and grandchildren's sporting events and was a gracious host for many parties during the decades. As her late husband was blind, she was his eyes as they navigated the years, raising their four sons and supporting him in his vocation as an attorney.
