Michael Cannon Death Notices
CANNON,Michael, Ballydavid South, Athenry, Co. Galway, who passed away on 13th December 2024. The family of the late Michael wish to express our sincere gratitude to all who sympathised with us on the sad passing of Michael. Thank you to all who attended the funeral, called to the house, sent Mass Cards and prayers and offered messages of condolence. Thank you to Fr Charlie McDonnell for his kindness in ministering to Michael and to him and Bishop Fintan Monahan who concelebrated Michael's Requiem Mass. Thank you to Conor Connolly and Padraig O Dubhghaill for their beautiful and very meaningful music, and for Conor's tribute to Michael's love of Irish music and dance at the graveside. Thank you to Michael John Quinn Undertakers for their professionalism and kindness. Thank you to the gravediggers who prepared Michael's final resting place and to the Raheen Woods Hotel who looked after the post funeral meal. A special word of thanks to Michael's Oncologist Dr Silvie Blazcova and her medical team, to the Galway Hospice who provided such exceptional care to Michael. Sincere thanks also to his GP Dr. Philip O'Grady and Pharmacist Declan Coyle and staff of Kelly's Pharmacy. A special thank you to all our wonderful extended family, neighbours and friends who supported us in every way during Michael's illness and following his passing. Thanks to Michael's many close friends and his set dancing family for the Guard of Honour and who provided Michael with much joy and happiness over the years. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest appreciation. Michael's Month's Mind Mass Church of the Assumption, Athenry, on Saturday 11th January at 6.30pm.
