Michael Mannion Death Notices
The death has occurred of Michael Mannion, "Clinagh" Derrymullen, Ballinasloe, Galway and formerly of Hermitage, Ballygar, Co. Galway
Michael passed away very peacefully on the 1st of June, in the presence of his loving family in Portiuncula Hospital. Beloved husband and best friend of Mary (Healy, Castlebar) for 55 years, dear dad of Dáire and Cathal and adoring grandad of Fintan, Enda and Molly.
Michael is very deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife, sons, grandchildren, brother Hugh, daughters-in-law Catherine and Niamh, brother-in-law John, sister-in-law Maura, nephews Padraig and Noel, relatives, kind neighbours and a very large circle of friends.
May His Kind & Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.
Michael will repose in Grenham's Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15), on Tuesday the 3rd of June from 5pm to 7pm. Private removal on Wednesday morning to St. Michael's Church, Ballinasloe for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in Creagh Cemetery.

House strictly private for family only on Wednesday morning.
Family flowers only by request, donations if desired to The Patient Comfort Fund, Portiuncula Hospital.

The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the wonderful I.C.U. staff at Portiuncula Hospital for the exceptional care Michael received during his short illness.

Deeply sorry for the loss of Mike. I am a cousin from USA, my greatgrandmother was Mary Lohan, Ballygar. My name is Raymond Lynch. My wife and I had met with Mike and the others at Hugh and Maura´s in April 2024. So very sorry to all.
